Desert Scholastic Chess Club

I wanted to make a page just for this club because it is a real thing I am excited about, not just a little side note.

A new club, new games, and a new place for kids who like chess.

I am really excited about starting the Desert Scholastic Chess Club. I wanted a club where kids can learn chess, play real games, and make new friends who like chess too.

Sometimes chess can feel like something you only do online or by yourself. I wanted this club to feel more real, where we can sit across from each other, shake hands, think hard, and have fun.

I also wanted the club to feel welcoming for kids who are still learning. You do not have to be a master. You can come if you like chess, want to get better, or just want a place to belong.

I have been dropping off flyers around town too, because I want kids and families to actually find out about it in real life, not just online.

The first meeting is getting close now, and I wanted that feeling on this page too. It is not just an idea anymore. It feels like launch week energy.

I want this club to grow into something kids remember. A place for good games, better thinking, and a lot of great chess memories.
