Hi, I’m Keith. I really like chess, and I also like learning, drawing, writing, music, and teaching other kids. I wanted one place where I could put all of that together.
StormChess is not supposed to feel like some giant company website. It’s supposed to feel like me.
Chess helps my brain slow down and focus. It helps me think ahead and notice patterns. I wanted to make a website that shows how chess can help other kids too.
I want StormChess to feel fun, safe, real, and friendly, like a place where kids and families can learn without all the weird noisy stuff.
Instructions are broken into understandable pieces so kids always know what to do next.
No noisy ad patterns, no risky social features, and no design choices that treat kids like traffic.
Practice works better when the structure feels warm, predictable, and worth returning to.
I play chess, teach other kids, make digital art, do experiments, and write stories. In my brain, all of those things kind of go together.
That is why this site has a bunch of different pages. It is not me trying to act like a company. It is just me putting my things in one spot.
I wrote and illustrated An Unexpected Trip to Rote when I was seven. I wanted to keep it here too because chess is not the only thing I like making.
